SIDE ENTRY MIXER

INTRODUCTION:


For large volume of storage tanks, the basic operation of blending and stirring is always executed with a Side Entry Mixer, while a Top Entry Mixer will be with too long shaft and require too big motor power. Even without the use of additional swivelling devices, good suspending and homogenization are possible with low power inputs.

Side Entry Mixers are installed onto a lateral flange with certain angle from horizontal level, meanwhile certain degrees off center, in order to achieve the maximum vortex in the tank.


SELECTION OF IMPELLER:


For general blending purpose, the most used impeller type is High Efficiency Type (Hi-flow, Hydrofoil). It is able to provide the excellent pumping ability and a strong axial flow at a minimum power consumption. For other applications, please contact RIXU engineers for the correct selection.
